Back In School!

It feels great to be back in school, being able to wield the pen to scribble stuffs down, flip through notes and listen to lecturers speak.

To accommodate that, it enlightens me to realise that I’m finally able to break away from the undesirable lifestyle that I’ve been indulging myself with for the past month. That includes all the late nights, where I would stay up at unearthly hours at clubs to get myself intoxicated with alcohol and getting pleasure from music blasting away at immensely high volume.

P/s: Korean class today was awesome!

18th June

I over slept..
I was supposed to get up at 2 o'clock today but I couldn't hear the alarm going off. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh! I feel like shit man. Now, I'm left with one more week to study for the MSTs.

Met Asmine, Phoebe, Jerome & Weisen for dinner today.
We cabbed down to Bedok85 from feeb's place.
I love the food there.. though you'd be simmered with smoke stench from the hawker stalls. Its especially nice to have dinner there with your friends once a while.. you'll get this warmth. Short day out and I'm already back home.

17th June

After Muay Thai Lesson, Sean & I met up with Jerome & Weisen @ Chinatown's Ann Siang Hill. We went to Style Nordic as they were having sales on certain stuffs. After which, we cabbed down to Bugis for dinner. Steamy steamboat x BBQ! Haha! I had a great time, definitely. I hope to have sessions like this often with the whole bunch if thats possible.

Gosh it's already past 12am.. I'm gonna try to mug, maybe @ Tmart? Joke..

I was planning to lie down on my bed for awhile and.. Gosh! I got up realising it's already 10am. Wow, I've practically slept for 17 incredibly long hours. I dozed off about 5pm yesterday due to the awesome drama marathon and lovely Koo Hye Sun (구혜선) as Guem Jandi.. I couldn't stop watching because I wanted to know what happens next! You'll get this occasional lust of curiosity at every end of an episode or even partial sections as I'm watching it on YouTube.

Although I've slept for so long, I've got this ache all over my body and I'm feeling so tired and worn out. Damn! I'm lazing on my couch again. I can't seem to bring this body that is currently fuelled with fatigue to start doing some revision.

Someone please get me out of this stature..

Stay home Tuesday for Yours Faithfully.

How did I actually allow my day to drift past just like that?
I practically did nothing other than stoning in front of my laptop which lasted for hours. Common'.. I should be thankful that I'm given three whole weeks to prepare for the up comming MSTs. Not including the weekends, I've wasted two long days. After much reflection, I've decided to start working towards my grades as of tomorrow. Two things to begin with is to have a positive mindset and strong will power. I shall not drift away from my initial goal and I will start incurring more time on the essentials that should be my priority.

Phuture equates to awesome-ness

Bloody hell I just got up and everyone is partying at Zouk now! I was supposedly taking a short nap earlier and planned on waking up at 5pm. Still I'm dead tired. After Phuture yesterday, I went over to my grandma's place and 8 in the am we headed off to the crematorium to collect my grandpa's ashes. Thus, I slept through the whole of today.

Lessons we called off today so I didn't have to attend school. I got up at 9 this morning and got ready and since class was cancelled, I headed out together with my parents. My dad had to fetch my aunt and grandma to the church where the funeral procedure will take place.

The blazing sun was emanating through the entire atmosphere this hot frantic Monday morning. It was seconds before the magnificent cathedral greets us as it peeks through a tiny front-door opening as we entered the gates of Church of Our Lady of Lourdes. After my dad had parked his black matte Chevrolet, we strolled down a walkway towards the Apparition Room where the coffin was placed. As time phased, individuals would come and leave and relatives would arrive timely, carrying with them their warmth heart. Some would begin reminiscing and others had conversion started. Now, all of us are awaiting for the pastor to arrive in 2 hour time.

I'm writing on yesterday's account

Ed & I went to chill at Cineleisure's Gloria Jeans right after school today. After which, we headed back. On our walk to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange, we bumped into Hazel and we decided to head to Downtown East for dinner @ subway with Flinda. Ziyang joined us as well. After dinner, we got tickets for Terminator Salvation. Had few games of pool before Kane and Weisen came down to join us for the movie. Overall, the show was awesome. A rather short but incredible day.

I'm off to visit my grandpa now..

When I arrived at the ICU..
All there was left was a monitor depicting his heart rate.
If only it reads above a hundred.

Everyone has their own little thought pool. Some integrate these fractures of interpretations perfectly with little implications that doesn't bring about unpleasant happenings. Factors abiding it may be focused upon the circumstances to which they belong. It all lies on this tiny fulcrum which decides whether you get it right or wrong. Its not what you perceive, its the fact that should be questioned.

Through these years, I'm changing my perception with time phase. No doubt that errors might prevail. I've always done essential thinking before action to provide a better understanding of the various situations that crosses my pathway in life.

I have this flaw, prone to be positive most of the times. Thats my incredibly high tolerance level. Especially towards people I hold dear. Having patience and giving in to individuals are prime factors contributing a healthy relationship. If one doesn't makes a move, nothing is going to spur. I don't see why its so difficult to initiate a simple gesture.

I would like to say that when I consider you as either an acquaintance or a foe, I'll ensure you that I mark my stand. People with selfish intentions are first on my list to be struck out. I've always appreciate people who are thoughtful. Those who shower little hint of concern and appreciation are life's wonders.

Lets part from my thoughts for now..

Somehow or rather.. I feel that days cruise past extremely fast. With a blink of an eye, they smack you right in the middle of the week and who knows.. Friday approaches and a fresh new week begins.

So I asked myself: What have I achieved after seventeen long years?

On a lighter note, I enjoyed today's Critical Reasoning Skills lesson. Paired up, Ed and I did a discussion on the topic of Censorship. The teacher commented that it was well done. No rebuttals.

Pleasant days in school

Pick your battles.. choose one that is favourable to your circumstance and not the other way round. You set those undesirable ones aside cause you don't have to be in all.

All of us needs at least one or maybe two close friends. Someone who knows all about you and likes you just the same. A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature. A friend is the first person to come in when the whole world goes out. A friend loves at all times. A friend is one who remains true to us under all circumstances and is one of life's choicest blessings.

Some of life's hurts are so deep and painful that to forgive the people who caused them seems impossible. However, forgiveness is the experience of healing that drains the poison from the wound.

Sometimes.. love sure hurts. Maybe if we don't love them it wouldn't be so hard. To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact.. you must give your heart to no one. Wrap it carefully around with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness.

To love is to take risks, to expose our hearts.

Unfortunately, we were late for school yet again. And this time round.. it was almost thirty minutes! All thanks to the wet weather causing traffic to be congested. Bus21's velocity couldn't match up with the racing time. Thus, leading to Ed's late arrival at the MRT station. Interesting part was.. When we got there.. The teacher uttered a sentence or two and she concluded with.. "Alright class, you can go off for your break now!" The lesson for us was merely a minute? Jezus Christ. Shouldn't have even rushed to school. Luckily, we didn't cabbed down.

Today's the commence of school term.
That means I've gotta clear my mind.. Off any distractions.
Having a good start is usually an incentive. Thus, I've to clear my blurred vision and stay focus on what I'm working towards.
That is.. the goal on the other side of the field.

Caught 17 again @ Tamp mall with the others; Eddie Phoebe Iris Jerome Weisen KahJun Dylan and Alson. Then back home.

Truth is.. I'm not all that excited for school tomorrow.
One of my reason is that I've known my classmates already..
So there will be no suspense.

A short day out..
Headed down town to meet the others after dinner with mum and dad. Met them at Cineleisure.. and off to Parklane for a short LAN-gaming session. Cabbed back home right after that and here I am blogging.

The commence of school term isn't all that charming. My vital signs aren't complying with the current situation I'm in. The feeling of unprepared-ness, lost and mid-low esteem are re-igniting. A metamorphosis ought to be crashing in.. or I won't pull through..

ORIENTATION.Day1

Travelled down to Dover with Edd and Phoebe. P, she got off at City Hall for her first day of work at Raffles City's Springfield.

First day of school was alright.. I was really excited at first. Cos' I'll be able to know who's my classmates and all. However, there was nothing much planned for us except few performances which wasn't that amusing. The MC was rather hilarious though. He'll add random jokes to his speech. No games or whatnot's.. just long draggy speeches by our Principal and the Director of CLS then back to some classroom which took us years to get to for some briefing and appointing of class representatives. Glad that our class tutor is friendly.. He would crack jokes whilst speaking and he seems rather cheerful in a way. Wednesday would be SPICE training. I doubt I'll be going down for that. The following day would be our Flag Day. Yes.. I can't wait for school to start proper. Then I'll be heading down to school with Ed, Sean and Dylan. Also, having meet ups with Alson and Shawn for breaks. Great!

After Orientation, we met up with Sean. He was practically waiting for us for almost 2 hours as he ended his earlier. After which, we headed down to Chinatown for our extremely late lunch. Then off to Ann Siang. Ed and I were scouting for shoes. Can't seen to find any which looks appealing. We left rather in a jiffy, because there is practically nothing much there. We took the train down to Dhoby Ghaut and headed down to Cathay. I got black Raglan there. A short walk and we've already arrived at Cineleisure. Ed bought his pair of shoes from Fred Perry, the pair that I initially wanted! Ass. Feebee left work slightly earlier and came down to look for us! Then.. we went to Botak Jones for dinner! Plenty of coins used to trade for my Fish & Chips and 2 Cajun Burger. Haha! Back to Cine for a game of pool with Ed. Always, its my treat. Cause I'd never win. Score: 3-1 HAHA! Alson and Jerome came after work and all of us headed back.
Supper with Aly & Ed at Tmart and stay-over at Ed's place.

2-days before Ziyang left for N.S.

Sat's night
Drinking session at our usual hangout in Elias.
Met up with Ed, Aloy & Dylan at Cineleisure's Koufu for dinner.
We had few rounds of pool while waiting for the rest to knock off from work. Feebeee & Iris came shortly. Sadly, Iris left soon after as she was meeting her friends for movie.
Met Romie and Alson after their work and we got 'wan wan' for transport back to east side. Rest dropped of at Aloy's place while me and Ed headed back to get changed. Supper with Ed & P before we headed over to our usual spot to meet up with the rest.

I love gathering sessions like this.
Headed down to Tampines1 with Phoebe early in the afternoon for my interview @ Springfield. We went to Ed's mum shop right after to look for both Ed and Ziyang. After which, met the rest and we left for Bugis to have our steamboat!

Instead, they want more. Till they lose things that are so dear to them and once within their grasp. I've come to a realisation that I have to be contented for what I have around and not to demand for more. You'll not always get what you want.

Short day in town.

Cabbed down to town with Weisen to meet up with the rest;
Ed, Feebee, Aloy and Alson for dinner at Botak Jones.
Soon after.. Timmy, Shawn and Shanker came down.
After which we headed back to Cineleisure to chill.
Waited for Romie to knock off from work and we headed back.

Its 340 and I'm still unable to get to sleep.
I'm heading down town tomorrow again to meet up with Ed right after his work. Both of us planning to get new kicks. Shopping first then off for our drinking session with Ziyang before he leaves for national service this comming Monday. Will miss him much, definitely.

School's starting very soon. That means I've to get back on track. Getting my sleeping hours right and heading out less often. Time management is a factor which I have to comply. Getting my study hours right. Making sure that the time spent on outings do not outweigh those allocated for studying. Alright, I shall stop blogging for now and try to get some sleep.

Finally, I had proper sleep today.

Today's a great day! Extremely elated.

Firstly, I woke up recieving a message from my TPJC class mate saying that I got an A from 'A' levels Project Work! Great.

Next, I bought my Headporter Shati Daypack! Ohmygawd finally. $270 gone.

I had been searching for it for months I swear. I need a new backpack for school thats why! I found it at a shop called 'Queen's Ave.' at Tampines One while I was walking around.. Initially I went there for Uniqlo's opening with Romie. Haha! Super high.
Iris came down after her work to look for us.
Around 11, I met up with Ed and P after their work for supper at the Prata House. Romie and Iris didn't tag along.
Home sweet home after that.

Last thing which made my day is that..
I'm in the same class as Ed.

Long day out again.

I got up late today. Damn.
I thought I was gonna have a long train ride to Dover by myself.
Luckily, I bumped into Iris when I was about to enter the MRT station. She dropped off at City Hall as she was heading down town to work. I met Ed at Singapore Polytechnic while he was admist his enrollment process. Phoebe met us soon after her dental appointment. She lost her retainer few days back and now..
She has to get it replaced.
Next, we headed down to Raffles City for lunch.
I didn't eat cause I was feeling kinda full from the hotdog bun I had earlier.

After which, Ed went off for work and I accompanied Feebee to get her manicure done at FarEast Plaza. Shopped around and off to Shaw to meet Romie and then we went to look for Alson and Iris.
Then we all went for lunch. Ed came down as well.
They all went back to workplace after their lunch break.
Accompanied Iris to Zara to get her jeans and off to Wheelock.
She headed back soon after.

Me and Phoebe pratically romed the streets and malls of Orchard. For hours! Hahaha. We bumped into Timmy and co. and we went back to look for Alson. We then headed down to Raffles City Starbucks to wait for Ed to knock off from work. Met the others at a chicken rice restaurant somwhere near Rocher's Beancurd.
& Last train back home!

I'm gonna have at least 12 hours of sleep tdy.
Need to rejuvenate myself.

Finally! Got to meet Mildred after a long time!

Cabbed down to town with Ed, Mildred and Anna.
We then went to Sushi Tei for dinner. Love the food there!
It was Anna's treat. After which, we met Alson and Co. at Art Friend to get my Fabric paint & Acrylic gloss. These are for my so called 'DIY waxed jeans'. I can't wait to get it done. Seriously!
Headed off to Cinelesure to chill before we went to catch The Unborn.

Back to hometown.

Initial plan was to go Ed's place after supper to get our jeans done.
However, we cabbed to Mildred's place and we went to chill somewhere nearby. And I just got back home. It was less then a 5 minutes walk. Maybe 2 mins? Just 2 blocks away.

Don't ponder about the title. Its just some mathematical term I picked up when I was in lecture about few months back. By the way, Maths is my favourite subject. Never failed once. Last test during J1 promos.. Aced it. Hahaha.. Random.
I've read this book recently, "Who Moved My Cheese?"
It gave me some guidelines towards changes.
Most of us hate changes and we don't wanna face it.
In fact, we ought not to linger but rather.. move on.
Having such attachment to something will not help.
We have to adapt to it(the change) instead.

Like my case. I've took almost 3 months thinking about whether to leave my 'current' school, TPJC to pursue a 3-year diploma course, Optometry, in Singapore Polytechnic.

Turning point yet again. But for the better.
Not destined but I'll lead the way.

I've practically stayed home this whole week. Great! Its good to stay home actually. You're able to have more sleep, relax, catch up with your family members and also incur more time to reflect about things you often miss out.

Met Ed soon after for lunch and then back home to change.

After school.. I went home to change up and met up with Jerome for a v late luch! U-mian again. But its my favourtie. Delicious. Wei Sen was getting his haircut at Hair Profile while we were eating. After which.. we took a cab down to Cathay to look for Phoebe as she was working there. Took many funnay/cute picutures with her lappy. Hahaha!

Iris came soon after to join us for dinner while P. has to tend her stall. Headed back home right after that. Extremely tired. Days.. faster pass.. I miss Fridays.

Alright.. today is an exceptionally lovely day which somehow spurred me to pen down what I've been doing all these while.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year..
Everyone would gather at my Grandma's place for a sumptuous feast together. This year, we had lunch. Peranakan Cuisine that is. Food that my grandma prepared were my favourite since I was a toddler. Talking about her dishes.. makes my stomach growl. Approaching the later half of the afternoon, we headed off to our relative's place. I merely stayed there for about an hour or so and I left to meet up with Aloy, Eddie and Jerome at Bugis for dinner. Food wasn't that good. Definitely not to my liking. After which we headed off to Aloy's place. Since there is no where else to head to. KahJun and Weisen met us there soon after and we played card games. Black Jack and In-between. Extremely exhilarating and full of tension. Yeah.. After which we all cabbed down to KahJun's aunt's place to get our stuffs for our barbecue the following day.

On the second day of the Lunar New Year..
My clique had a CNYbbq planned out. It is held at Jerome's condo. Yeah it all went well. The food was alright.. Music was good as DJ Kane was in the house and so on.. HAHA! Only that there isn't sufficient time for us to use the pit. So we didn't manage to finish our food. Here are the Hosts: Myself, Edd, Jerome, KahJun and Weisen.. And here are the people who came: Aloy, Alson, Sherry, Shanling, Iris, Phoebe, Sue and Mandeep! Mildred and Anna came but they went off rather early. After packing up and all.. we strolled our way to our usual hangout where most of our drinking sessions would be held at. Today's menu: Vodka, Baileys, Black Label, Jim Bean.. Awesome. Great day!

On the third day of the Lunar New Year..
I gave school a miss as I got home extremely late and honestly, I was seriously dead tired. Exhausted.. really. I got up about 4 in the noon and met up with the rest to head to Shanling's place for visiting. Extremely long journey by train. After everything ended, we went for supper!.. I'm not really familiar with the west area which she resides. So I'm not sure where we went.

Gosh I've missed yet another 3 days of school. What am I getting my self into now? Tomorrow is A level Chemistry Skill CD Spa trial. I'm not even prepared for it. I'm so lost now. Seriously.. I shouldn't have picked JC back then.. No..No.. I should have focused on my studies instead and not place 'Fun' as my priority. Just one pathetic year to go. It will past real fast, I know. But I just can't keep myself on the right track. I keep diverting.. keep indulging.. Always thinking that I still have a backup route.. To the Polytechnic that is. But that's 3 frigging years. Think.

FUN

I'm not talking about college. Its the Hong Kong trip with my homies.

I've been distorted for the past few days. Everything seems out of place. Nothing seems to appease me.

Alright, today is supposedly day one in school for me. However, I was extremely tired so I decided to take the day off from school. Just to get more sleep? I seriously need to get back on track. To get back to school and start studying, that is what I meant. I haven't been attending school for the past one week. Focus J.

For the past one month, fun had never been out of our way. There were plans for us every single day. The trip to Hongkong had been a whole lot of fun! That's to put it in short.

Can't sleep much these days. Got up right after 4-5 hours of sleep.

Whitesands for dinner with Jerome, Sean, Weisen and Ziyang. After which we headed straight to Harbourfront. Ugh! Golden Village closes so early on weekdays. So there's no movie for us but there's another plan for us. Great. Got some snacks drinks and off we go to Sentosa's Siloso Beach. Intresting part: We gathered few tables and chairs right in the middle of the beach! Super relaxing. Especially with the cool breeze from the sea. Yeah and soon after.. the rest came over after their prom. Chivas time.

All of us headed to central to fill our stomach, supper that is. We were all starving. 2 hai-s went back- Sean and Kane - so we didn't meet up with them @ central.

Now I'm back home. Stoning in front of Compaq. Haven't even packed my luggage. I`m just lazy and feeling kinda tired. At certain point of time, I was thinking of not going for the trip or maybe return halfway? 3 weeks or more. Extremely long.

Just got back from Mustafa.

Got some necessities which I require. Realized one thing, every outing with the league cost at least a hundred bucks. Haha! Just one more day and I`m off to HongKong for a fucking long trip. Haven't even packed my luggage. It better be fun or. Cos I`ll not be celebrating Christmas, My Birthday and New Year with my love ones back in S'pore. What's worst? School might be starting on the 2nd of Jan. 13 is Exam. I'll be back on 12 Jan. Sure become lost boy.

I guess this is my first time blogging and I'm new to this!
Well, to start off I shall say I don't know what to do next. Really.
OK! I'll try to at least share with you about the day before.

Two whole days without sleep.

First of! I had a extremely hilarious LAN gaming session at Elias with the others; Eddie, Kane, Sean, Dylan and Zane before leaving for home to wash up. Then it was the incredibly long ride from Pasir Ris to Dover where the initial plan was to accompany Ed to Singapore Polytechnic to get done with his application stuffs.

Starbucks @ Marina Square was the next destination for us. Caffeine played an essential role for the day. Got a black polo tee from Lacoste as they are having a promotion - 2 at just 79 bucks. Ughh! Couldn't chance upon your shop uh! Thinking I would be able to spot it. haha!

Headed to Fareast for lunch and strolled around town aimlessly. We met up with Ziyang at his work place for a short while and off to ICA building to collect my newly made passport. Yeah! Can't wait for the HongKong Trip!
